Principal Responsibilities
- Review setup templates and ensure accurate and timely fund setup, agent setup, and other static data setup requests raised by the operations team, in line with Fund Manager’s instructions.
- Perform periodic reviews of load setups, ensuring that sales charges, realization charges, and trailer fees are correctly configured and computed.
- Establish and maintain effective mechanisms to track, document, and implement client instructions, ensuring accuracy and client satisfaction.
- Ensure timely updates and proper documentation of Fund Manager’s setup instruction changes.
- Support the day-to-day operations of transfer agency services, including processing, reporting, and query handling.
- Identify opportunities for process streamlining, risk mitigation, and service delivery improvement.
- Maintain the internal control standards, including timely implementation of recommendations from internal and external audits.
- Lead and participate in projects and initiatives, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and process enhancements.
- Provide service-oriented, client-focused support, ensuring a proactive and responsive approach to client needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in fund operations, transfer agency, or asset management operations.
- Good knowledge of fund setup processes, static data management, and load/fee structures.
- Good understanding of internal controls, audit practices, and operational risk management.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and client service skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
